and leasing
We aim to make owning a racehorse an enjoyable and rewarding experience and believe it’s important you feel involved with your horse’s racing career.
As an owner you will be kept informed with progress reports, videos, photos and audio updates.
Visiting your horse at the stables and attending trackwork sessions, barrier trials and open days where you can meet fellow owners are part of the experience for those who wish to do so, and of course there is race day!
The team at Claire Lever Racing select yearlings at all major sales for current owners and for those who are just starting out or who are interested in joining the stable. Whether you are looking to race a horse with friends or family, or prefer sole ownership, we generally find we have something to suit everyone.
Tried horses are also available at various times throughout the year.

North Pacific x Tolerate Colt
Magic Millions Yearling Sale January 2024
By exciting first season sire North Pacific this colt is the first foal of a winning So You Think mare, herself a daughter of champion Group 1 winning mare Bonanova who is full sister to Group winners Telesto and Fraternity. This is one of the best female lines in the stud book. Bonanova is also the dam of black type winners Prima Nova and Bonaichi.

By Rubick – the highest rated 2yo colt of his generation and sire of Group winners Jacquinot, Rubisaki, Shades of Rose and Yes Yes Yes to name a few. His dam Devolving was a Metro winner at 2 and is from the family of Victory Vein - Champion 2YO filly in Australia in 2001-02
This good looking gelding has broken in well and is currently spelling. Will come back into work in the near future.

This athletic filly by Microphone is out of a black type winning mare who has produced four winners including city winner Undeniable (6 wins to date) and HK winner Super Red Dragon (2 wins to date and $672,605). Microphone was a champion two year old in an elite crop in Australia in 2018-19. He is the best two year old son of Exceel and Excel, from the family of Written Tycoon. He defeated four G1 winners in the best edition of the G1 ATC Sires Produce Stakes in 20 years and was the first colt home in the 2019 G1 Golden Slipper. His oldest progeny are yearlings.

This cross of Per Incanto with Savabeel mares is proving to be successful with horses like It’s Time For Magic and Lightning Jack both bred on the same cross and winning at stakes level. The second dam is a sister to Spurcent (AJC Gimcrack) and a half sister to G1 winner Glorious Days (8 wins – 5 in succession 1200 -1600 $4,373,220 in NZ and HK). By Menari – an exceptional sprinter and dominant winner on debut at 2, winner of the Listed Rosebud, carrying 60.5kgs – defeating Group 1 winner Trekking who carried 4kg less, Menari also won the Run to The Rose in race record time and only 0.05 seconds off longstanding 1200m Rosehill track record. Menari is out of stakes winning mare Isurava, his yearlings have sold up to $350,000 (average for first two sales seasons over $116,000) his oldest progeny are 2YOs and with a low number of progeny due to fertility issues his winners to runners strike rate is very impressive.
This filly is the first foal of Husson mare I’m Rosie a winner herself and daughter of 5 times winner and stakes placed Monterosso. She has broken-in very well, has spelled and is back in work. BOBS and QTIS eligible.
